How to save Chrome Bookmarks to user profile?

I've installed the ADX file, and allowed bookmarks but they disappear each time the user logs off.

 

Is it possible to redirect the bookmark file to their userprofile?

You can redirect the profile directory using ${profile}\Google\Google Chrome under the set data directory option in the adm this will redirect their chrome profile into their profile and will then keep bookmarks etc between logins

This solution could be useful to us too, but Google advises against using it because the profile may be corrupted if opened in one version of Chrome and then in an older version. If Chrome is left to update itself, it seems to me a user could roam from a computer that happens to have updated to one that has not. Have you had any problems with corrupted profiles or does this not happen much in practice?
