Just had a yellow triangle in the WSUS roles which takes me to the WSUS service logs. When opened they list 'event 13001' which says 'Client computers are installing updates with a higher than 10 percent failure rate. This should be monitored.'

This is just a small primary so not much change is going on to servers or hardware.

Any pointers how I can remedy this error.

First things I would ask,

Do you have windows updates controlled via GPO and going onto machines at a regular interval ?

Do you have it set so that all the machines are turned on at the allotted update time to be able to go and look for the updates ?

Ours here are set to do a daily sweep for updates on the clients at 4pm each day when the network traffic is lighter as most people have gone home (site powers off at 6pm here and powers on at 8am in the mornings with spiceworks) and we typically allow updates through once a month for our machines on the WSUS side of things.
