thomass Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Hi, We are using premiere elements 11 on a Windows XP/2003/2008 domain with 5GB quota for some students. When the students are opening their projects from the network it takes a long time and is very slow, additonally sometimes premiere just seems to freeze and then will catchup. I wondered if anybody else has had problems like this if so any ideas would be appricated.

The only things that'll speed it up and stop it freezing(that I've found so far) is to unplug the network cable or disable laptop wireless before you start the program. Then reconnect after it's started. Not a great option in a school environment!
