Adobe Premiere Elements 11

Hi,

 

We are using premiere elements 11 on a Windows XP/2003/2008 domain with 5GB quota for some students. When the students are opening their projects from the network it takes a long time and is very slow, additonally sometimes premiere just seems to freeze and then will catchup.

 

I wondered if anybody else has had problems like this if so any ideas would be appricated.

Lots of people have problems with Elements. The only things that'll speed it up and stop it freezing(that I've found so far) is to unplug the network cable or disable laptop wireless before you start the program. Then reconnect after it's started. Not a great option in a school environment!
