Gcalendar help please

So I've got gcalendar up and running but I've got a couple of niggles with it I would like to fix before the website goes live.

 

1. hovering the mouse over the date produces a tooltip which is good but the tooltip remains even after the mouse is moved away. Other sites I've looked at the tooltip is not persistent.

 

2. the tooltip is rendered white on black. How can I change the colours please?

Digital Peak have made a new version called DPCalendar. With this one you can change the colours but it doesn't link to Google's calendar anymore but uses the Joomla database so you add new events by using the DPCalendar control panel in the backend.

I Use DPCal all the time and it does link to Google and pulls iy in nicely - if that's what you need.

Further to the above is it possible to disable the click event on DPCalendar so it doesn't open the event page? So what I want is to have the calendar showing upcoming events but not move to a new page when event is clicked.
