BJG Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 ..but gained an iPad. Not all bad then. Looking forward to putting my stamp on this nice big empty office. I'm thinking, low-level lighting; lava lamps. And wall hangings with pictures of elephants.
matt40k Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 I've heard rumours about what you guys over the border get up to, but that's impressive, losing a whole IT Technician! I mean maybe a bit of flesh, but a whole person! Would love it be there when you sneak that into your list of orders, yer I need more toner, half a dozen new monitor, a lava lamp, few extra licenses... an ICT Technician, a new motherboard...
dhicks Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 (edited) Lost an IT Technician Location: Norwich Ah, that explains it - confusing place, Norwich. My first night at university there, instead of partying or whatever it was everyone else was doing until 3am, I managed to wind up wandering full circle around the ring road. The second night, after getting the bus into town to go to the cinema (which I didn't manage to find in time to actually see a film in), I promptly got lost on the way home, passing three branches of The Woolpack Inn which I later figured out were the same pub three times. My embarresment at my lack of nighttime navigational skills went unsurpassed until the next day, where I managed to get lost on the way back from Sainsbury's and missed the dean's commencement speach, proving I couldn't navigate in broad daylight either. To be fair, it wasn't just me - a group of scouts turned up to somewhere in Norwich to receive an award for their navigational skills, and managed to get lost on the way. I suggest you start looking for your lost IT technician on the ring road, then work your way towards the centre of town... Edited January 17, 2014 by dhicks 1
NotSoFast Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 I've been wandering the Norwich inner ring road for 20 years now. Send help...
clareq Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Have you tried looking down the back of the sofa? Whenever I lose anything its down the back of the sofa... 4
tech_guy Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 (edited) Or, have you looked in the last place you had him? Lost things usually are found the last place you were together. We lost a member of our darts team once and found him where we'd left him in a layby on the A5. Edited January 17, 2014 by tech_guy 1
X-13 Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 losing a whole IT Technician! I mean maybe a bit of flesh, but a whole person! I don't think PFYs count as people. 1
