We have Licenses for a number of versions of Photoshop (CS4, 5 and 6) I'm currently trying to upgrade so that we run all on CS6. Is there any way of doing this?

If not any recommendations please for best price licenses purchase?

Is that £21 per FTE per year or per month?

We were looking at adding more products in to our Adobe suite (we've currently got the CS6 Design & Web Premium) but we were quoted a massively higher price for adding anything to it so scrapped the idea. If we can get the whole suite for cheaper then I might have another look!

Be telling me please wise folk of Edugeek land - is there a heap of difference between the CS4, CS5 and CS6 versions. Apparently no upgrade discount available so it looks wise to continue using the 1 CS4 and 4 CS5 licences we currently have unless say for example they aren't going to work when we update the OS on the workstations they are on from XP.

There are differences in the tools available but ymmv on how much they are used. For example, CS5 (I believe) introduced the Content Aware fill tool which makes things like removing things from pictures a BILLION times easier and is a really amazing tool - watch this for an example: Content-Aware Fill/Scale/Heal | Understanding Adobe Photoshop CS6 | Adobe TV.

CS6 adds another few things, most notable of which are the extensions to content awareness, such as the Content Aware Move tool - Using Content-Aware Move and Extend | Learn Photoshop CS6 | Adobe TV which is also pretty impressive.

I believe there have been other things as well, like optimisations, but those two above for me are the best things added!

Edit: I just checked with the boss because I didn't think we paid full price for CS6, but apparently it's because we bought CS5 and paid for two years Software Assurance, so when CS6 came out we just automatically got it for free - wonder if you could add SA on to an existing, older package?

Per Year, with Phoenix software, that was a year ago so may have gone up slightly since then...

Wow, might have to have a look then, that would be awesome - cheers Quackers!
