[sims] Adding to Register

Morning All,

 

I have been asked if it is possible to add EAL to the list of options when you right click on the name in registers. I have tried seraching the Maintain Lookups, but can not find anything. Does anybody know if this is possible, and I am not finding the correct lookup, or is it one of those that Capita would put in if they got enough people requesting it?

That is the type of thing that requires a change request.

Tools | Setups | Attendance Setups | Module Setups is where you can configure your list by default. It's a per person thing though. That is all that is available.

It might be available as a column in a marksheet. Many people setup up a marksheet that it's easy to link to and get the extra info on.

Thanks for letting me know where to look, I will hopefully remember that in future! Although you would have thought that would have been one of those set on there as it is something that schools get scrutinized about! Well we do at least!

I have set up all of the marksheets to have EAL as a set column, as well as the the other usual ones FSM, PP, SEN, Etc.. But as per normal most teachers are too lazy to switch tabs on their registers to see all of this information.

we actually implemented that teachers have to include this information on their seating plans - as very very few use their marksheets outside of reporting time.
