Windows 7 64bit - "Windows Firewall Service" Stopping

Hi,

 

We have a weird intermittent problem since we have moved to "Windows 7 64bit Ent". On random machines the windows firewall service just appears to stop? By default the firewall is OFF on the domain but it means that we aren't able to PING or VNC to the machines. The only link so far is that it seems to only be happening to the older Dell 740`s..

 

Has anyone ever seen this please? The service can easily be started again, just cant see why its stopping.
