Log Files - safe to delete

Hello there,

 

One of our servers has a number of log files in the system32\Logfiles directory, totalling around 8gb. Are they safe to delete? I have attached a screen shot if that helps!

In my experience, yes, anything under that Logfiles directory can be removed (and you'll only regret it if you need to check the logs for something).

 

As for those ones in your screenshot though, they aren't immediately ones I've seen before so I would try and do a bit of digging to find out what is generating them. What's inside them for instance?
