speckytecky Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 My art teacher started her MacBook this morning wanting to mirror to her whiteboard and the flipping thing wont. It's OSX 10.9 Good reliable Windows machine mirrors fine though!!
speckytecky Posted December 19, 2013 Author Posted December 19, 2013 No one else suffered this experience after an update to a MacBook then?
seawolf Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Was the MacBook on 10.8 and now it's on 10.9? If so, that's not an update, that's an upgrade and not one that's recommended for a commercial environment. Much like any other OS, I generally wouldn't advice using the dot zero release of anything except maybe in your own home or in testing. One other thing I'm confused about - what are you using to AirPlay on Windows (e.g. AirParrot) and is the Windows image on the same laptop? Also are you AirPlay-ing to AppleTV or AirServer, etc? There seem to be a few variables at play here.
Quackers Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 We run 10.9 here on Teacher laptops for Mirroing on the boards and its fine, i have had twice it send the audio only reboot of the mac sorted that.
