Hey Guys

Ok so I found a way on this forum a while back to disable known folders through GPO and stop users being able to see Libraries. Now I need to revert that change due to an issue with Office 2013. I want to use folder redirection which is now all set up correctly. Although after disabling the GPO "disable known folders" and doing a gpupdate /force the end user still can't see libraries. Why is this and how do I get them back, I've spent all morning trying to figure out why and I can't figure it out. Any help will be most appreciated I have uploaded a copy of the GPO as a pdf to see whether you guys can see any problem :)

Thankyouu!!Staff Lockdown pdf.pdf

I tried this, and the problem still persists? Any other ideas???
Could it be saved in their profile? Try creating a new user and see if they can see their Library, if that user can, then it could be a profile issue...

I think its a reg key rather than a gpo setting. You may need to tick this Configure Common Options . It depends how you applied it. If it was a script you need to apply a gpp registry which has the default entries.

I don't think it will be a reg key surely as I used the GPO setting "disable known folders" and copied the codes into that area and applied the GPO. Just to give it a go do you know exactly what registry entries I need to apply? I'm guessing this is under User Configuration - Policies rather than Computer configuration??
