Restricted file types

Hi,

 

Some of the staff wish to upload Activ Primary flip charts and smart notebook files. These show up as restricted file types. Is there a way to add these extensions to the list?

The smart botebook software uses the .notebook extension, I am unsure about Activ Primary/Inspire

Hi Matt,

 

Log in to Home Access with an admin account. Click the arrow on the right to get more options, click HAP+ Config. Then go to My Files and add the file extension you want as a filter. The expression is where you want to put the .notebook and then make sure it is enabled for all users in the AD group you want.

This can be done on the server itself in the config files, but I can't remember file paths/names off the top of my head.

~/app_data/hapConfig.xml, look for the MyFiles/Filter section.
