googlemad Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 For the past couple of months (Around the same time as the clocks changed!) my PC along with a handful of others at work are acting strange. Basically every Monday morning without fail I'll come in, switch my PC on and it'll just get stuck at the Windows 7 'Please Wait' screen. If I reboot into Safe Mode, then restart (Don't have to log in) the PC gets past that point and works fine for the rest of the week...until the following Monday! Any ideas what is going on?
jb2201 Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 Have you got Verbose Status Messages logging turned on in a GPO? (Computer Configuration > Policies > System > Verbose vs normal status messages). Might give you a bit of insight to exactly where its hanging 1
Joanne Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 Oooh, wondered how you switched that on! Cheers! Yeah OP - sounds like a group policy thang.
mike86 Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Do you turn them off by holding the button in on a friday? If so, could be related to this Unexpectedly slow startup or logon process in Windows Server 2008 R2 or in Windows 7
SovietRussia Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Its got the Monday Morning Tiredness Syndrome
