IT / AV Technician, South Herts

Manor Lodge School are looking for an IT / AV Technician. Salary range £16k to £22k pa. approx. dependent on factors of experience, qualifications and personal fit to team and role. 6 month contract to begin with to see how the role fits us as much as the applicant. Closing date for applications 10 December 2013.

 

POST TITLE: IT Technician

Reports to: The IT Manager and Bursar

1. Purpose of Post:

 

This is a new post and will involve working as part of a small IT team to provide IT and AV Support for staff and students within the school, assisting staff at all levels with technical issues, queries etc. The job description may therefore evolve in line with the post holder’s own skills and experience.

Question, at the end of 6 months, would the post be extended?

We would like to, if all goes well. It has to work for both us and the applicant. From my perspective it would be useful to take 6 month's worth of knowledge of our working into the summer holiday projects, but we do plan to review toward that point.
