OSX 10.9, iOS & Smartcache

Is anyone else using iOS devices and OSX 10.9 machines through an RM Smartcache?

Both OS's cannot 'remember' the username and passwords to connect to the Smartcache, which means the user has to regularly put them in to the point of being a PITA! Also OSX 10.9 won't connect to secure sites properly or at all (e.g. app store for OS updates).

I've contacted our LEA who supply the Smartcache, but they don't know and they probably won't have a solution as Smartcache is now obsolete!

 

We don't have a transparent proxy either.

Hopefully someone must have got the 2 to play nicely together!

We use the above setup and the machines don't keep asking for the usernames and passwords like you mention above. have you checked your config on the smart cache to make sure its correct ?
