Add operation failed...

I am trying to update the Plugins, namely Flash, being deployed in my school (I only recently took control of it IT system) through Group Policy but I'm getting the following error:

 

"Add operation failed. Unable to extract deployment information from the package. Run validation on the package to ensure that the package is correct"

 

The server is 2003 R2 with SP2 with mainly XP clients.

 

I have read through Googling it could be something to do with the version of the plugin that is installed on the server itself. However, according to Adobe website, my server is rocking 11.5.502.110 but the version I am trying to deploy is 11.8.800.94. Also, to prevent Flash from uninstalling from clients because I removed the old package, I tried putting it back on and was met with the same error so I feel a bit stuck!

I ended up installing the same version I was trying to deploy (11.8.800.94) and it all worked!!
