synaesthesia Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Here's a strange one. One user (that we know of). Logs on to Moodle fine. Clicks My Courses. All the courses display. For about half a second, then disappear! Same on any browser, on a different computer. We can work around it for now but this just seems very odd! User is correctly assigned to those courses (automatic enrolment) Any cunning plans?
secretlife Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Which version of Moodle and where are they clicking "My courses" Is this in the navigation block?
synaesthesia Posted November 26, 2013 Author Posted November 26, 2013 (edited) Lol. Looking for that information, we found the exact problem. Said user had dragged his navigation bars and courses etc to the little doo-hicky bar on the right of the screen! (something we didn't even know existed - NM here just found it when logged in as the user and wondered what on earth they were! Problem solved ***Edit : Said "doo-hicky" is called the Dock Edited November 26, 2013 by synaesthesia
secretlife Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 The number of times that happens;) (You know for many themes you can disable the users' ability to dock their block so they can't make that mistake again - in Site admin>Appearance>Themes>Theme settings>Allow blocks to use the docks 1
