As I recall I couldn't prevent Sophos from identifying the executable as a threat and then quarantining or deleting it [even adding exceptions] I suppose I could have omitted the folder from the scans but that was something I was reluctant to do.

 

We stopped using it. The guy in Technology that liked it has left and nobody else has missed it.

Dave...try speaking with Sophos. They are able to get executables exceptions rolled out as an update.

@nephilim: Thanks for that but we stopped using Fritzing some time ago. I created the post above in case it was still an issue with Sophos: I was tearing my hair out back then!
