bitznpcz Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Hi, I am looking for HP recovery disks (Windows 7 Pro x86) for the following laptops: HP Probook 4525s (P/N XX800EA#ABU) HP 630 (P/N A1E13EA#ABU) The previous technician at school installed XP and wiped the recovery partition. I believe that HP no longer sends out recovery disks but I am hoping someone on here has made a copy and would send or upload somewhere. Happy to pay reasonable costs to receive them. Failing that, I will have to install using the COA and download the drivers (I have about 10 of each model to do). Thanks, Kevin
rich_tech Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 think you can order the media off HP for a price if you are genuinely stuck
bitznpcz Posted November 21, 2013 Author Posted November 21, 2013 OK, thanks. Will give them a try...
Trapper Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Surely it's easier to install from retail/VL media and use something like DriverPack Solution to install the drivers.
bitznpcz Posted November 21, 2013 Author Posted November 21, 2013 Spoke to HP and they are sending the disks... Despite what I read, they do still send them out.

bitznpcz Posted November 21, 2013 Author Posted November 21, 2013 Don't think the server will cope with MDT! Need to get the new head to spend some serious money :-)
