Field Engineer – Oxford to London

Well established ICT network installation and managed services company based in Oxfordshire requires its next field ICT technician/IT Engineer for installation and support work across the southern region, you will be ideally located between Oxford and Watford. The company provides solutions based on Microsoft, Vmware and Citrix VDI enterprise technologies and the ideal candidate will have experience of all three technologies (Microsoft as an essential).

You may also have experience of a variety of educationally important technologies like SharePoint 2010, Exchange 2010. Windows Server 2008, Exchange server 2010, Sharepoint, Lync, Active Directory, group policy, DHCP, DNS, WDS deployment, IIS, remote desktop, print servers, WSUS, VMware vSphere VCP 5, Microsoft Hyper-V, MCSE 2003 or 2008, ITIL V3, Citrix Xenserver, Xendesktop, VDI, ESXi, Xenapp, Xendesktop, Citrix Access gateway (VPX) , HP Proliant and blade servers, SAN Fibre/iSCSI (IBM, Dell or EMC) , NAS, HBAs, Fibre switches and RAID controllers

Southern UK travel required and frequent overnight stays could be involved to implement on customer sites

Start asap, experience in education be it BSF or Academies programmes is highly advantageous, CRB clearance is also essential.
