Funny how at the end of the article they offer a free report to guide you through the impending crisis along with 3 free issues of the magazine. You just have to sign up and remember to cancel within your 3 week trial.

There's another article that debunks it and shows up some of their graphs as being a bit ropey, ultimately it's a fear-driven sales tool for the magazine but at the same time the only people raking it in are the banks and those who run them.

And neither are the graphs inflation adjusted - I think beer was 12p a pint in the 1970s at my student union - to put some scale on the change in value.

 

Also - these people were flyering me last year with their report on gold prices and why I should invest everything into gold as the price was going to soar way over $2000 per ounce - its lost about $300 since then down to around $1250 - glad I didn't follow their expert opinions.

 

However - there definitely is a debt problem and one that the currently reinflated housing bubble is not helping with
