Thepurplegenie Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 Does anyone use or know of a minimum standards specification for the information that should be available for each course or module on a VLE and that perhaps covers the quality of the information provided? I was at a conference recently and overheard someone talking about introducing one at their college. We are now having problems with tutors uploading assignments that haven't been through an IV process and I need to implement a system that each tutor can work through when uploading content and setting out courses.
mighty.grey.eagle Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 This would be like having minimum standards for worksheets! A school or college can try to impose a standard but it would be very difficult to police. Far more critical is the copyright (or not) on the materials if teachers are going to start sharing their courses.
