Schema Owner is Deleted!!!

Hi,

 

Got a small problem that I believe are causing a few issues on the network, I ran a DCDiag and everything passed, except for the below! Anybody know how I change the schema owner? Does that refer to the server or a user? If so it references DC-03 which has has been demoted from a domain controller. Is there anywhere that I can look to manually remove any reference to DC-03?

 

Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I would try and seize the role. I saw this with a domain back in 2007, doing this fixed it. Follow this guide on how to do this (under the seize heading) - Using Ntdsutil.exe to transfer or seize FSMO roles to a domain controller

 

Remember to backup first

Good stuff, i would keep an eye on things. How are your other roles looking?

I has to seize another role as that has the same error. Having big issues with group policy not applying properly, which i think is related to these issues i have been having. Some machine will work fine and others wont, keep getting a component error. You will need to check all 5 roles and sieze any as appropriate.
