randle Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Hi, I've installed Windows Photo Gallery on a newly deployed Windows 7 SP 64-bit image. This is working fine other than when attempting to crop an image and saving. This then shows the message Changes to this photo have not been saved because it is already open in another program. This is not the case as is only open in Photo Gallery. I've rebooted to make sure something isn't locked in the background during this session. I also have RM CC4 64-bit computers here on which I've managed to successfully crop images so imagine this has to be a system setting somewhere!! Anyone experienced this or know why this may be happening?
randle Posted November 14, 2013 Author Posted November 14, 2013 Ok, this again looks to be an issue with accessing NAS storage from 64-bit OS's as when moved off of the NAS I can modify the images fine. Previously I had a problem accessing a Buffalo NAS from this architecture but simply had to change the GPO setting "Microsoft network client: Digitally sign communications (always)" to disabled under Computer configuration > Policies > Windows Settings > Security settings > Local Policies > Security Options so feel that this is related in some way but can't see what else needs changing!
