Cannot browse Buffalo Terastation NAS on 64-bit OS

Hi,

I've recently started deploying Windows 7 SP1 64-bit via MDT/WDS.

For some reason this OS architecture won't allow me to access a Buffalo Terastation NAS share I have here saying "I might not have permission to use this network resource" and then when browsing through UNC path I get a simple "The network path was not found" network error. Browsing using IP address says "No process is on the other end of the pipe"!!

Permissions are set correctly and access is possible on 32-bit OS deployment!

No firewall is active so am a little stumped at the moment. Any ideas?

Need to disable a security policy.

On Windows 7 PC run Secpol.msc

Expand Local Policies

Expand Security Policies

find & disable the following;

Microsoft network client: Digitally sign communications (always).

Exit from Secpol

Reboot machine.

Connect to share

@fiza: Seeing as you knew what my problem was so quickly I wonder whether you know why I can't modify images stored on this same NAS? I keep getting a message saying the file is open in another application when it isn't. Moving the file to SAN/local storage allows me to edit the file successfully so reckon again this is something similar to the problem I was experiencing above!! What do you think?
