free780 Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Has anyone had any experience of them ? I have vitgin tivo box and want to view it in a room above the living room. I dont care about extending the remote as I can use an app to control the tivo.

It was probably good because it flooded the signal everywhere and I sometimes had problems with other wireless devices so had to turn it off. Also if you have a microwave that may well interfere with the image when it's on. I would have thought someone would have designed one that works using homeplug technology by now, but the last time I looked there wasn't anything around. If you have to go via wireless do so, but expect occasional problems unless you are lucky. 1
free780 Posted November 4, 2013 Author Posted November 4, 2013 Stupidily there are still ones on 2.4ghz. You can get 5.8ghz which may work. I guess I just need to give it a try.
