ccc Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Keep getting ARP Rate Limit warnings on HP A5500EI Switch Aggregate Links? "TheARPpacketrate(134pps)exceededtheratelimit(50pps)oninterfaceGigabitEthernet1/0/1inthelast60seconds." Question should I Disable ARP or increase the Rate Limit, I think you can do either via CLI just have to find the commands. John
ccc Posted October 30, 2013 Author Posted October 30, 2013 I have disabled the ARP Rate Limit on several Bridge-Interface Aggregate at the moment. John
CyberNerd Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 I think you should fire up wireshark and find out what is causing an abnormal amount of ARP's 1
snoerre Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 (edited) I disabled the arp limit, too. Take a look at HP´s homepage: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&taskId=110&prodSeriesId=4218345&prodTypeId=12883&objectID=c03661151 In my cases the ports were access ports with Comware´s loopback-detection options enabled. No sign of broadcast storm. Edited November 3, 2013 by snoerre
