[sims] How to install SIMS client on win 7 64bit Machine

Hi Guys,

 

please help me on this, we are upgrading our PCS to win 7 x64. now we need to install SIMS on 66 client pcs. i have not done sims installations before. please help me on the steps how to install, where to get the installation files. is there any easy way of deployment. We have Sims server on 2008 server. all your help much appreciated. CApita help desk is not helpful at all.

What are you running Solus 2 or 3?

How are you upgrading the 66 machines to win 7? If its with a deployment tool like MDT or Ghost then I would just install sims onto the master image. The install files are found in the setups folder on the sims server. Having said that some people have moved to Solus 3 to automate the install of sims across the network. You might want to look at solus 3.

We are deploying through SCCM. we have been told SIMS will create problem if put through SCCM. !!!
