mike86 Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 Having a nightmare with RM Maths on our 8.1 netbooks. I have an icon on the start tile pointing to a UNC path for RM Maths, it is working for some users, for others it says "the link this refers to is unavailable" if i then run RmMaths direct from the server it will open & then the icon on the start tile will work, on next logon it will stop working again. Some users it works without issue. The accounts are all identical, same groups, same location in AD. I can not work this out for the life of me...I've deleted the profiles off the machine, still same. Help!!!?

mike86 Posted November 13, 2013 Author Posted November 13, 2013 It did have spaces, but taking them out seemed to make no difference, i've also tried running it from the desktop which still doesn't work. We have two mapped drives W:\ & P:\ the software i want to run is on P:\ (which is hidden) If i run the shortcut from the desktop it will not work "the link this refers to is unavailable" If i run the same shortcut from W:\ it works, after this the shortcut on the desktop WILL work!!! I don't understand, Ideas?
