Backup Exec 12.5

Hi All,

 

i have just recently taken over the responsibility of the backup systems at work with no handover, i wanted to be able to just see a plain view of the areas/folders that are being backed up as we are filling up tapes on overnight backups and backups are failing now. I think instead of using extra tapes that actually we are just backing up far too much hence why i need layout view

 

is there any way to view this easily

Hi,

 

You can view what's being backed up in the job settings. If you go to Job setup and right click on the job, click properties. If you click selection you can break down what's being backed up.
