Team Fortress 2 Beta is available to play on steam if you pre-purchase. I must say though it looks pretty much finished though. Great fun game. No grenades in this one which I think make the teamwork more important.

For those who prefer the more TFC style of gameplay complete with conc jumping etc check out http://www.fortress-forever.com/ I will be playing both of these games

 

On another note I am able to transfer a copy of Half-Life 2 and Episode one to somebody elses steam account as I already have them. If anyone is interested let me know. I will be biased towards people who contribute alot to the site though .

Note, with a two year old daughter, a new baby due now, two new pups, 5 year old German shepard, the chickens, cats, wife, planes, guns, fishing and two boys comming over in 3 weeks time to stay I have difficulty finding spare time, even with the fact that I only work 27hrs a week.

Silly question, but I too plan to buy the orange box which will include halflife and episode 1 which I've already bought, I can you transfer the ownership on steam? I wasn't aware you could...

In conjunction with the orange box yes you can it is written somewhere on the steam site.

Well, I was suffering from the slings and arrows of CSS so I thought what the heck, it's barely anything thanks to the exchange rate, so I went and got the Orange Box.

 

What can I say... it's great... but good grief there's some whining little [cough]s on there isn't there... Course swapping teams and targetting them is always good fun :twisted:

Come on the Cant Shoot straight server. Anyone like that gets banished. Usually starts filling up about 8. Cant find the IP but will post it later.

I will be on as [CSS]FourHorseMen/[CSS]FhMoTa/[CSS]FhM which ever takes my fancy at the time.

Also before anyone says CSS is counter strike source I will have you know The cant shoot straight clan was started with quake and therefore predates CS:S by many many moons /rant off

Yeah, was a good laugh, especially the random global hello's that suddenly erupted when I made the mistake of saying "ello'"... Like the I.R.O.N.I.N.G. word on here...
