Phreadlock Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 Please can you help me, i have a script that runs on our 2003 server to shutdown all computers on the domain, however 20% are windows 2000 sp4 fully patched. These machines don't switch off, i get the message "it is now safe to switch off your computer". i believe this is to do with windows power management on these machines ? Any help would be appreciated. Regards Phreadlock
Quackers Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 Go to Power Control Panel, and enabled Advanced Power Management.
Phreadlock Posted September 16, 2007 Author Posted September 16, 2007 Cheers i am 99% confident that APM is working on these computers, however the 1% tells me i better check, will vpn today and take a look. However if the script has run will have to wait till Monday. Thanx Phreadlock
