mtillbrook Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 I am getting this error when i open FMS on one particular workstation. I haven't done any database restores or anything like that so am not sure whats causing it: FMS has detected a synchronisation mismatch with MIS which indicates that the MIS database has been restored from a previous backup but that FMS has not been restored to a corresponding backup made at the same time. You MUST STOP and review the relationship of the FMS and MIS databases. If you are in doubt please see advise from your usual support team. Do you wish to stop and restore FMS to the same point as MIS? Needless to say I am telling the user to hit NO every time. Anyone got any clues? Cheers
mtillbrook Posted October 14, 2013 Author Posted October 14, 2013 Check the system time on that computer. Yer first thing I checked!!
matt40k Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 Phew, not too bad then. I'm guess this is a 64bit machine and the rest are 32bit (or the other way round). Just need to reinstall SIMS to the same place as the others - a quirk of FMS
Kellie Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 We have recently had the this issue at one of our schools. They have recently merged and the user had gone into an old SIMS database then logged into FMS, the school links FMS & SIMS causing FMS to try and Sync with the old database. Capita created a site specific patch for us to resolve this issue. Hope this helps
smthomas2000 Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Ditto, only had it once in nearly six years but Capita had to make a custom patch.
