[ms office - 2010] Odd opening speed issue

Hi guys

 

I hope someone has experienced this odd problem and found a solutions

 

Our staff have laptops, which are set up with SyncCenter so they can be used at home. When they are in school on the Domain, office application open really quickly. However when the user gets home and starts an office application it can take up to 4-5 minutes to launch the program.

 

Any ideas what could be causing it? and how we can cure it?
