Add Network Drive To IE Trusted Zone

Hi,

 

I am getting the attached security warning for SIMS on the workstation desktop. The desktop is redirected to a sub folder of the home area. Usually to get rid of that warning i add the location to the trusted IE zone. But I can't add Z: or Z:\

 

Do i get around this please?

 

I was thinking about tweaking the redirection to something like \\server\share\%username%\desktop then adding that to a trusted zone. Got to play with the direction setting to recognise the %username%

Intranet zone-> uncheck the auto detect checkbox and goto advanced and add the path to where those files are and try again?

Thats what i am saying i cant add network drives as paths.

Think it allowed me to do it but it converted it to something like

 

File://FQDN

 

Where FQDN is your domains FQDN

 

Did find this but seems to relate to IE 7

just add \\servername or \\domain.local\dfs etc with a value of 1 that should do it
