[bug/error] Delayed e-mail notiofications for some posts?

Today I've been getting e-mail notifications fairly regularly after posts in subscribed threads. However every so often I've got a e-mail from a post that was made a couple of hours ago. I've since had e-mails about posts made after the particular post the delayed e-mail is informing me of. Not a huge issue, just a bit odd.

Glad I am not the only one! [i thought I was losing it when I clicked a link to see that it was a post I had already seen the content of]

 

I have just received the "Educational IT Jobs" update notification that I normally expect to get just after midnight.

Thought it was my email account! I've noticed some delayed notifications. Have instant email setup and noticed that some threads I get emails arrive like normal, others I get a very delayed email or for a few none at all.

Yeah it does appear some mail has been delayed, we use a 3rd party mail system to prevent these very issues... our server seems to have sent the data but they are slow relaying.

Please post when you get an occurence and any time discrepancies so I can trace the problem. I take it all the expected email does eventually appear?

Just had an occurrence of this. Post by Localzuk at 9:20. got the e-mail at 9:45.

There were posts after his and I got all the e-mails notifying me of them almost immediately.
