tmoon-mint Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 Hi guys, I have recently been doing some testing on Windows 8 due to the fact that for some reason when I add the clients to the domain, the Windows Store application breaks. For this reason I have setup a WMI filter in order to prevent policies from applying to the machine as this is what is causing the problem. I have updated one of the tablets to Windows 8.1 and removed the WMI filter in order to test if this is some sort of bug that will be addressed in this update however the WMI filter is still showing as applied when I do a GP result on the device. Any ideas why the filter is still denying the device from getting policy, even though I have deleted it from GPM. Do I just need to reboot the server? Thanks Tom
gtg93 Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Quick fix: I can personally assure you, if you do it right, none of the WMI filters will apply 1
