Chrome extension - firstrun

Is there any way to block an extension opening the firstrun page?

 

I've just pushed out Chrome on a test machine, and I'm making sure GPOs are applied properly [and that I haven't forgotten anything], and on each account I'm testing with the Adblock Plus firstrun page is popping up.

 

Is it enough to block "chrome-extension://cfhdojbkjhnklbpkdaibdccddilifddb/firstRun.html" or do I have to edit a file and push it out to all users/machines?

We've got exactly the same issue.

In the end I just installed it without extensions.
