Cant see print jobs on a shared printer

Hi everyone

I've shared a printer via USB on a Mac ( Mountain Lion I do believe) and everyone can print to it fine from our other various macs.

 

Trouble is when all the kids print and something goes wrong I jump onto the mac the printer is shared off and I can't see any print jobs in the print queue for that printer - so we can't cancel them from that particular mac the printer is connected to.

 

Any advice most appreciated.
