Playing youtube videos using iOS/mobile devices behind TMG 2010...

Hi all,

 

Anyone know of a way to get iOS/android/other non-domain devices working with differential authentication behind TMG 2010?

 

Trying to explain this the best way I can - we currently have 2 groups for authenticating through TMG: all pupils and all staff. We allow staff more access rights than kids, the main one being youtube. So staff are authenticated against their user and it's then supposed to allow them through. However on all of our iOS devices it appears to have stopped allowing youtube videos through. Pupils are not supposed to be allowed on youtube so I can't just authenticate all users.

 

Vimeo seems to be able to play videos ok. Pretty sure youtube used to work on them but it seems to have stopped now. Can load the main site but not play any videos.

Have you set iOS to use a 'Global Proxy' via provisioning profiles?
