Sharepoint User Cache ?

Hi All

 

I have an issue with SharePoint 2007 where users that have had name changes over the summer are still either showing their old title (miss to mrs) or old surname, Active Directory user details have been updated as well as through exchange but SharePoint still seems to pick up the old details from somewhere.

 

I cannot see anywhere else where this information may be stored so I was wondering if there is a cache somewhere that needs refreshing or updating to allow the user details to change in sharepoint.

 

Any help on the above would be greatly appreciated

Your best bet is to run a full profile sync, you can get to it via Central Admin. That should clear up any old details still in the profile store.
