"The voice of young people has certainly been amplified through social media to gain greater visibility in the public arena, but what role do (or can) young people really play in shaping the online future of the world in which they will live?

 

To find this out, Insafe will run a social media campaign throughout September, during which our Have your say on the future of the Internet! survey asks young respondents (and their teachers and parents) to indicate what they feel is needed to make the internet a safer and better place.

 

In October, your thoughts and opinions will be discussed by the InsafePan-EU Youth Panellistsduring theSafer Internet Forum. Also, we will use your input as a starting point for a workshop Insafe organises together with the European Commission and Google during theInternet Governance Forumin Bali."
