Printer Errors

Hi folks,

 

I'm having issues with a 2008 R2 print server and/or HP printer drivers.

 

The issue seems to be with a range of new HP printers (M451nw, M451dn, and M475dn). These are all set to use the latest HP Universal Printing PCL 6 driver (61.150.2.15717). Both 32 and 64 bit versions have been loaded in Print Management.

 

When I try and print certain "normal" Word and Excel documents via a Windows 7 client they just don't print and I get an error (just a general error and failure to print) from the printer in Windows.

 

When I print these same documents on a 32 bit 2008 (R1) server, with the same driver version, I have no error at all and the job prints.

 

I'm stuck as to where to troubleshoot this. Any ideas/thoughts?
