pooley Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Found this invite on Pinterest and would like to use it for my daughters 1st birthday. Any idea's how they created the "ONE" filled with dots? Thanks Si
edutech4schools Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Last year I found a free software that would make words out of a folder of images but not able to remember the name, sorry.
featured_spectre Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 If you have photoshop. Download an image of lots of dots. Create a text layer saying what you want. Rasterise the layer. Paste in the dots behind the text. Magicwand outside the text so it highlights the written word. Delete everything on the dots but the written word. Hope that helps.
pooley Posted September 9, 2013 Author Posted September 9, 2013 I'll give that a try when I get home, thanks.
pooley Posted September 9, 2013 Author Posted September 9, 2013 Failed miserably but thanks anyway lol
unixman_again Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 It's easy in the Gimp. 1 Install the make seamless advanced plugin (if you don't already have it). 2 Create a small image (say 50x50) of coloured dots and process with the aforementioned plugin. Save as a pattern. 3 Create a new image with the words you require in black, in a new layer. Select the black and delete it. Create a new layer below the words and bucket fill with the dots pattern you created in step 2. 4 Job done!
