Epson 83HE Projector image problem (blurry)

The projected image is blurry at the center of the screen only. I have replaced the lamp and the center of the image is still blurry. The projector has not been moved or touched since the end of the School term and was working ok before the School closed for the summer holidays. I have added images below to show the problem:-

 

 

Any suggestions would be welcomed!

I've got one doing the exact same thing. the only difference is that my projectors blurry centre has a slight purple hue to it...

You may have already done this but...Have you checked and cleaned the filter?

Hi Guys its not a filter problem you have dust in the mirrors and LCD panels it requires a deep clean, any purple or pinkish hue is a dead givaway, also the lack of contrast in the black areas.

This is a workshop job only, an engineer would fully strip clean and rebuild also testing output before and after.
