HDMI Imput

Morning All

 

I use a mac book pro. I have just purchased a raspberry pi. What I want to do is when I am away in hotels is mess around with this.

 

But I need a monitor, so to get around this I want to use it with my mac book pro

 

So I am looking for something along the lines of hdmi to USB input device.

 

Anyone know of anything? Or even another way of doing this?

Not possible, since MacBook Pro's do not have HDMI inputs.

You could buy a small external LCD (like the one pictured below) or simply SSH into your Raspberry Pi (through Terminal over WiFi/Ethernet) and run commands that way.

In the past, ive used vnc to achive this. All you need to do is connect your mac to the rasp pi with a network cable.
