[wds] Pending devices not showing up in WDS MMC

Hi,

 

We've been using WDS for a while without any major problems, but now we are getting random PXE clients that are waiting for approval, but not being listed as pending devices in the WDS MMC.

 

Anyone come across this before and know of a fix?

I've just come across this problem today, did you ever figure it out?

Not sure why/what happened but after the 3rd restart on the client it finally made an appearance under Pending Devices.

I didn't find the cause or the solution as such, but it just stopped happening on it's own.

 

We had two WDS servers running for a while, but it would still happen when we used the F11 option to manually choose which one to boot from.

 

We've removed one of these servers now for unrelated reasons, and the problem had fixed itself before this so can't see how it was down to this.

 

If you do have more luck in find out out what causes this, I'd be interested in what you find.
