kfq61 Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Hi Has anyone had any problems any registering ipads via Lightspeed through Ruckus? Lightspeed is not picking up the identity of the ipad, just GUID. We have checked with the local authority and lightspeed but they are saying it is an internal issue. Any ideas? Many thanks Kathy
Eappariello Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 Hi Kathy, Sounds like the Apple Push Notification Ports are not open or reachable. As a test see if you can telnet to the below ports gateway.push.apple.com : port 2195 1-courier.push.apple.com : port 5223 Yu should get a response like the one below. Connecting to 1-courier.push.apple.com:5223 Connected.
browolf Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 I have the exact same problem except its occurring within our isa server proxy . the telnet thing works. It's the last part of process that fails. the connection error that occurs is "995 The I/O operation has been aborted because of either a thread exit or an application request". I'm updating the isa server in case that magically fixes it.
rob_cart Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 Hi All, browolf - did you get anywhere with this my ISA is doing the same thing and after hours of trying i still cant find a fix - any ideas anyone ?
browolf Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 For anyone else reading this thread, the main thing we did that helped fix the problem was changing the default gateway in dhcp to point at the isa server!
