fiza Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Is anyone else on here using Specops Gpupdate ? I have used it for a long time but now seem to have a problem when I try to execute anything such as "start computer" I get the error : "There are no more Endpoints available from the endpoint mapper" Anyone any ideas?
MordyT Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Any drive mapping? Missing the firewall service? Maybe the BCE (iirc) service? If so, work of a virus... 1

Steve21 Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 That's generally either DNS or firewall. Have you turned on SpecOps debug logs? Steve 1

Sorry, on mobile it is a pain to type. Google endpoint mapper virus. There are 2 reg keys that need to be restored to restore 2 services, then problem should go away.
fiza Posted August 16, 2013 Author Posted August 16, 2013 (edited) That's generally either DNS or firewall. Have you turned on SpecOps debug logs? Steve Ok Friday Stupidity strikes again!! I recently changed my DHCP server but forgot to authorise it. So it was still pointing at my old DHCP server. As soon as I took out the old authorisation and put the new one in all is now working. Thank you all for the replies. Edited August 16, 2013 by fiza
