I'm trying to install HAP, and am falling at pretty much the first hurdle - I can't see "Application Pools" listed in IIS Manager. Do I need to do something to enable them? The server is an aging CC3 server, not sure which version of IIS it is running, as Help>About doesn't include a version number.

Am I on to a non-starter here, or can I get this working?

The IIS6 instructions also refer to application pools (step 11 of the PDF file), but they're not visible for me. Could they have been turned off/hidden somewhere in IIS Manager?

Application Pools should be showing just above the Web Sites node in IIS6.

A post on another site suggests you do the following Nick

I believe your IIS is running under IIS 5.0 Isolation mode. To check that, right click on "Websites" and click on "Properties". Click on "Service" tab, uncheck the isolation mode check box. It will ask you to restart your IIS, do that. Now you will see Application Pools listed in your IIS manager!

CC3 never had isolation mode enabled, so maybe someone altered it before you started :)

Hmm. I can't browse the Internet from the server now. Could that be related? I've undone everything, but I still can't...
